What Is It?
What started out as a plan that was made in a van when two guys (the founders) were trapped overnight in super cold temps with a dead battery and no cell service (and drunk on whiskey…jealous) has now morphed into a major brand that both campers and just regular folks like us are obsessed with. They originally thought of it as a “sleeping bag blanket” which it kind of is, but now they’re using only 100% post-consumer recycled materials and they give 1% of all their revenue to environmental non-profits.
You’ve probably seen them on an episode of Shark Tank and may have forgotten about them, but we’re here to tell you to 100% check them out, like, immediately. A friend of ours who’s a huge camping nerd told us about them and even let us borrow their blanket before we made the commitment to buy our own (no freebies here). Here’s the thing, we’re actually not big campers. But the good news is that you don’t have to be. They have both outdoor and indoor blankets to choose from so there’s something for everyone. Plus, with “all things pandemic” we know we’re not the only ones with a kick-ass fire pit in their yard, a bunch of Adirondack chairs, a bunch of beers, and staying out way too late. Well now you can be warm at night while getting into all sorts of shenanigans with your neighbors.

So, since we always get this question (especially after they were added into our gift guides) we thought we’d answer this for you here so you can save some time. The answer is “sorta, kinda, almost, not really.” Is that clear? Ok, well here’s the deal. No, Rumpl doesn’t have promo code offers or coupons that they give out to websites (and, nope, we don’t have them here either). We’ve seen them listed on all these other sites but, in our opinion, so many of them seem just made up and actually didn’t work. But, the good news is that they do have discount codes and offers for their customers, but you gotta check them out on their website. For example, we’ve seen an offer where you can get 10% off by subscribing to their emails or even a pretty decent Refer-a-Friend program.
