What Is It?
We first heard about Rothy’s last year when we were reading the latest from Refinery 29 (yes, we read other sites besides the one we work at) and we were instantly intrigued. If you haven’t heard of them yet, here’s the deal. They’re a totally sustainable brand that creates some of the chicest (and most comfortable) shoes (and now bags) for women and kids that are made by successfully transforming eco-friendly materials into totally stylish products. So are you wearing recycled shoes? Yeah, kind of!
We decided to bite the bullet and try out a pair for ourselves. And, yes, we bought our own pair and, no, Rothys did not send us anything to review. No freebies allowed here! So we picked up the Olive Camo Loafers (they were about $165 at the time) and, TBH, they were actually pretty comfy. There not exactly like our fave slip-on Vans, but they’re actually a super close second. We got a ton of compliments from complete strangers when we wore them out and we loved how we didn’t see them on everyone else everywhere we went. We also love their “Zero Break-In” feature where your feet don’t have to break them in order for them to fit perfectly.

Are There Promo Codes or Coupons?
Ever since we’ve listed them in our gift guides, we get this question a lot. We don’t work there, but people certainly think we do! So here’s the official deal. No. No, Rothy’s does not have promo codes or coupons of any kind. And they don’t send them out to other sites. Oh, and we don’t have them here either. If you seem them listed on the type of sites that just list out all kinds of codes they, most likely, aren’t going to work. Isn’t that so annoying?! The good news is that they do have some discounts for customers, but you have to shop them directly on their own website. It’s ok, we’re not mad if you leave us.
