It’s time to get fancy with your water bottle! LARQ water bottles are self cleaning and use safe UV-C light to get rid of over 99.9% of viruses and bacteria in your water.
If you’re one of the few around here that haven’t heard of LARQ (yet) your mind is about to be blown and you’ll never drink water the same way again. Like, ever. We got our first one about a year ago and we’re not going back to any of our old water bottles.

What Is It?
We first heard about the absolute genius that is LARQ from The Today Show (where we get all of our hard hitting news from) and were more than intrigued to give it a try. If you’re not aware, the LARQ water bottle uses safe UV-C light to get rid of over 99.9% of viruses and bacteria in your water. Oh, and did we mention that the bottle itself is self-cleaning too? Total game changer. If you’re familiar with the PhoneSoap, it’s just like that, but for what you drink!
We picked up our own (at the time $99) on Amazon. We don’t get any freebies around here so, yes, we bought it ourself and, no, they didn’t provide us one so we’d review them. We’re good like that. Anyway, at the time there were about 2 colors to choose from. We chose blue and off we went! Um, it’s pretty rad. Not only does it eliminate bacteria and germs, but it also activates every 2-hours to automatically clean things again. So it’s perfect if it’s the type of water bottle you fill up during the day and sip on it throughout the day. Even better? It will still keep your cold drinks nice and chilly for 24-hours (yes, really) and nice and hot for up to 12-hours (yes, really). Now we didn’t keep our coffee in it for more than 2 hours (we drink coffee like it’s, uh, coffee), but it was hot the entire time.
Outside of amazingly colorful water bottles, rumor has it that they’re coming out with a self-cleaning water pitcher too. We can’t wait! We’ll keep you posted when that’s released and if it’s worth checking out. Some of the areas, in the meantime, you should become familiar with include:

Oh dear Jesus, no! We’re sad to report that, nope, LARQ doesn’t hand out promo code offers or even coupons to other sites. And, sorry in advance, we don’t have them here either. Like, ever. But the promising news is that they do sometimes have discount codes and offers for their customers and potential customers. In order to qualify you have to make your purchases over on their website.
