We’ll never review a product that we haven’t tested ourselves. And we really won’t write about it unless we’re obsessed with it, like, legit. Our latest obsession comes from the Pacific Coast company and, specifically, their down comforter. If you’re in the market for a total bed upgrade this is it.

What Is It?
The Pacific Coast Feather Company has been around since 1884. No, really. 1884. Why did it take us so long to hear about them? Alas, we actually found them when searching for down comforters that don’t constantly lose their feathers. Somehow we found them, tried them, and have never been the same since. Oh, and if you’re wondering, the one we purchased was the Extra Warmth Down Comforter. Do it if you can!
What we loved the best was how the feathers, legit, never came out. Never. Ever. And, even better, they didn’t all “fall” down to one part of the comforter where you have to shake it and fluff it every day. Honestly, there was nothing more annoying to us than that and is why we always went through new comforters every 1.5 to 2 years. For real.
Also, a huge selling point for us is that it kept us really warm in the winter (we were even able to lower our heat, like a ton) and we didn’t sweat it out in the summer. Although, if you’re a super sweaty sleeper all year round they do have a bunch of lightweight and all-season options for you too. If we had had to come up with one “con” it would be that we wished (wish, wish, wish, and prayed) that they would come out with down comforters that were different colors. We hate duvet covers so we sleep with just the white comforter itself. And, after a while, it starts to look a little dingy. We’ve seen comforter options from LL Bean that are in light grey, blue, green, and more so you can sleep with just the comforter itself. But we digress.

There’s really something great for just about any kind of sleeper with any kind of preference. You know what? Pacific Coast actually does have promo code offers and coupons you can use from time to time. The only catch is that you have to shop them directly to see what their latest offers are. In the past we’ve seen offers where you can get an extra 10% off by subscribing to their emails and even some free shipping when you spend a minimum amount. However, if you’re looking for discount codes that other websites claim to have (you know the type of sites) but they usually never work, well, you’re going to come up short.
